Metabolic Health Coach | Founder of New You Now

I’m Lorraine, a metabolic health coach, and I help people make sense of their health so it finally feels achievable in real life.

Most of the people I work with already know they want to feel better. They understand the advice. They have tried programmes. They genuinely want to change. But they feel stuck, overwhelmed or unsure where to start.

I see it like standing on one island and looking across to another. You can see the destination. Better health. More energy. Greater confidence. What you cannot see are the stepping stones in between. My role is to help you find those steps so the journey feels clear, realistic and possible.

I am like a personal trainer for resilience. Instead of building biceps, we build consistency, confidence and self-trust.

I do not believe in quick fixes or all-or-nothing thinking. We focus on small, sustainable changes that fit your life. No spinning plates. No chasing perfection. Just practical adjustments that reduce pressure and help you move forward steadily.

Clients often tell me, “You’ve explained this in a way that finally makes sense. Now I know where to start.”

That moment matters. Lasting change does not come from doing everything perfectly. It comes from understanding yourself and working with your life, not against it.

Before becoming a coach, I spent years supporting people to hit performance targets. Over time, I realised what truly mattered to me was helping people support themselves and move towards goals that improve their wellbeing. Seeing someone rebuild confidence in their ability to care for their health is the most rewarding part of my work.

I support people with metabolic health, including those who have completed NHS lifestyle programmes such as the National Diabetes Prevention Programme. Many arrive feeling frustrated or comparing themselves to others.

One of the most important things I share is this:

You are already doing the best you can with the resources you have right now.

Perfection is not required.

Comparison is not helpful.

Real progress begins when pressure lifts and self-trust grows.

If you take one thing from this page, let it be this:

Perfection does not exist.

But every transformation starts with the decision to try.
